The Quart System combines our Softie 3 Merlin with our TS-1 Liner and Bivvi bag. It can be used as a one or two season sleeping bag. There is a waterproof housing built into the stuff sack to keep the bivvi separate after use in case it is wet, so you keep your sleeping bag and liner dry. With this system, you get all three components for a reduced price, rather than purchasing them all separate.

Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase. Not the top of the line stuff but it seems to get the job done. Several Pros and Cons to this system. I didn't like the Bivy that came with this system but I do have the SF Bivy from snugpak that I have been using for awhile and replaced it with with. The liner is great! I have used it by itself when the temps are in the 60s at night and a little windy. I have not got to use the large bag yet but I purchased it to replace the U.S. Army's green portion of the sleep system. Snugpak's bag seem less quality but it is a lot liter weight and a lot more compact. So if the temp. rating is true then its a great bag. After purchasing this If I could go back I would just buy the components of this system individually.
