Tasmanian Tiger Harness Molle Adaptor

I needed a mounting solution for a Spider Holster device that is designed to clip on a pants belt, but I needed it to clip onto my backpack shoulder strap. The backpack in question does not have molle- instead it has a daisy chain coming down the shoulder. This adapter is ideal, combined with a gated G-hook to hook to the daisy chain. The result is a very slim, secure and looks great. The only other solutions I have found to mount this device are hard plastic clamp style, which I have found digs into my collar bone and also eats into the foam inside the shoulder strap.

While functionally perfect, the one caveat is that this is designed for a shoulder strap that is about 2 1/4" wide. My strap is 3" wide and tapers, which means that the velcro only goes halfway across the back of the strap, even with the velcro extender. This means the uncaptured corner of the velcro will potentially snag my clothing if I wear merino wool or similar shirt. The solution to that is going to require a sewing machine and some modifications, which should be pretty simple. Regardless of that, I am still very thrilled to have found something that that does the job so well.
