This tent is gangster AF. Love it! MadCity is awesome. Customer support is great. Mad respect for MadCity! Will be doing business with them again soon for sure. They had the lowest price on this tent I could find
This tent IS designed to fit 2 people but you can cram 3 in it in case of emergencies. The dome shape and aluminum poles are pretty strong, we got 2.5 feet of snow dumped on us over one night and the temperature fell well below freezing throughout the weeks, the tent didn't buckle or show indications of sagging and at least kept us dry. Also, it's plenty light enough to pack in and out of camps. My buddy sold me on them when he showed me his and so far I've bought 2 and given one to another friend. Snugpaks are The Shit!
I like the concept of the tent and it does add some warmth by having two bodies. Only time I used it was around mid to upper twenties with slight breeze. I expected some condensation but found none. The two main cons so far are if your are over 6 ft tall this tent might not be right for you. I'm 6 ft one and barely had enough room head to toe. In assembling tent working the poles through the sleeves are not easy and it helps if you have two people. Lastly I had a grommet to pop out first time I set up and took down tent. Still waiting on Snugpak to contact me about repair or replacement. I noticed that all grommets and pole ends seemed to fit way too tight. Almost like too small of grommets were installed.
Great little tent. Everything feels solid. Takes a bit to set up the first time but it goes quick once you're familiar with the concept.
