Designed in collaboration with prolific outdoor writer and hunter Richard Mann, Galco Gunleather is excited and proud to introduce the RifleMann Sling!
Mann came to Galco in the Spring of 2015 with a novel idea for a hunting sling. His rough prototype allowed a hunter/rifleman to use the sling in three braced positions. The first position is the traditional œhasty? sling, as often used by the military and hunters. The second is the position originally used with Galcos Safari Ching sling, essentially a further simplified hasty sling, as preferred by many modern shooters. Lastly, Manns original design allows the use of the more recent and modern œmilitary sniper? technique, where the sling wraps around the strong triceps.
Christening the new design the RifleMann Sling, Galco made several refinements to Manns design, allowing easier and simpler use. The addition of thick padding allows very comfortable carry in the field. Upon field-testing the new sling, Mann proclaimed it, œThe best damn sling Ive ever used.?

Marksman's sling designed in collaboration with outdoor writer Richard Mann
- Accommodates three braced shooting positions (hasty/military, Safari Ching style, triceps/sniper technique)
- Padded for comfortable carry
- Fits 1" swivels
- Black color
Based on videos and other professional reviews I was expecting more. The sling is OK. I'd rather use a dedicated ching sling or rhodesian versus this sling. It is very high quality and I don't question the longevity. As to form VS function? It's not for me.
