I purchased this tent after some lengthy research into a 3/4 season tent sporting a relatively small pack size compared to my Cabela's Alaskan Guide tent. The dry run setup was quick and smooth, overall construction felt solid and the fly looks like it will shed water well. Looking forward to using it for some back country camping in the near future to break it in!
Also shout out to Mad City Outdoor's due diligence to stay in touch regarding the progress of ordering the tent, preparing for shipment, etc. I'm not someone who needs the "prime shipping" treatment, I'd much rather have transparency on the status of my order from a real human so that will make me come back to Mad City Outdoor for future orders of gear.
Snugpak are the best tents I've used. Can't go wrong.
Although it took longer than expected to receive, I will not doc a star because Mad City Outdoor offered this tent at the best price I could find. The tent itself is constructed well and was easy to set up. It also got back into the carrying bag fairly easily. Three people could fit in this tent if necessary, but limiting to just two people would be much more comfortable. Thanks Mad City 👍🏼
Great Customer Service
Nice sturdy tent. Airflow was lacking but after about an hour it cold off. Kind of a pia to set up a fly first style tent as opposed to interior first, having to climb around on knees to hook all the interior connections up. Also, if it's hot inside, don't have a lot of options other than the tie outs for airflow. Materials are very high quality and the they give you a bunch of aluminium steaks that are nice and lite. All in all, A good buy, especially with the awesome price Mad City gave me. Thanks, Jon
