I carried a handmade tooled leather wallet prior to joining the Army. From basic training in 1978 all the way through 2020 I carried a issue USGI nylon cordura trifold wallet. My Tasmanian Tiger done tore those old GI trifolds and shreds! I told my sweetie for Valentine's Day I wanted her to get me a second Tasmanian Tiger as a backup.
