TRACTION
Never has a snowshoe offered such outstanding grip. Combined with the vertical blades, the stainless steel bidirectional crampons placed under the foot give incredible traction (uphill), excellent grip (downhill) and perfect drift control (incline). The flexible frame follows the shape of the terrain, provides superb stability and complete safety and avoids sudden sliding in powder snow.

I have been through 4 pairs of MSR snow shoes, and the bindings always broke. I cannot get new MSR shoes, nor replacement bindings. So I am trying the Symbioz Adjust. Only used once so far, and they worked fine. Time will tell if they can last.
The TSL Symbioz Hyperflex Snowshoes are fantastic! We live in a mountain landscape, and the shoes work very well on climbs. The teeth hold well against slippery surfaces when ascending and descending. They function well in deep snow and are relatively easy taking on and off. I highly recommend them!
Not a 5 star due to a short rear binding strap. I wore ankle height snowboots with a lot of insulation material around the ankles. That's where the rear strap comes across the boot to start the strap into the ratchet. Needs to be a couple of inches longer. I changed to boots without a lot of ankle padding (insulation). This helped to secure the bindings easier. After that complaint, I found the front boot width adjustment and setting the foot length an easy task. I like the secure feeling of the bindings. Once ratcheted, the bindings don't move. Thumps up. I used trekking poles at first but really didn't need 'em in 12" of powder. Lightweight. Maneuverable. Good grip. Could have been a 5-star snowshoe.
These snowshoes are awesome, comfortable, quick on and off, easy to adjust to different boot sizes and superior to other brands I have used.

After a lot of patient waiting, my snowshoes arrived just in time to hit the trails after a major snowstorm in the area. We got about 24 inches in town and out on the trail, there was still a lot of powder. The shoes worked really well. Great traction and seamless movement. I used the little high-heel levers for ascents, which makes a huge difference, and heading down a few steep descents, I felt confident in them. The binding are easy to use and solid. They are nice and light, and true as advertised, the shape of them meant that my gait was more natural. This weekend I am headed out again into more adventurous terrain and can't wait.
